Start with the battery and application
Specify whether you need a complete pack, a module or individual cells. Record the vehicle brand and model, vehicle class, chemistry, nominal voltage, Ah and kWh, quantity and delivery location. A two-wheeler pack, three-wheeler battery and passenger-car module are not interchangeable simply because their advertised capacity is similar.
Compare new and used batteries separately
For new stock, ask about the manufacturer, model, date, supplied documents and any seller warranty terms. For used batteries, ask about storage, damage, incident history, BMS access and test evidence. Seller-declared state of health is information to investigate, not proof of safety or remaining service life.
Read the price basis before comparing
Listings can be priced per unit, per kg, per kWh or per lot, or offered with price on request. Compare prices using the same basis and check the lot size, minimum order and stated tax treatment. An asking price is not a completed transaction price. Agree inspection, payment and delivery directly with the seller.
Request evidence and technical acceptance
Ask what a report covers: an individual unit, a sample or the whole lot. Review its measurement date and method, and arrange application-specific professional assessment. Photos, uploaded certificates and company identity checks do not establish compatibility, roadworthiness or suitability for reuse.
End-of-Life batteries are a separate route
End-of-Life offers on MatXloop are for recycling only. Keep recycling procurement separate from stock intended for vehicle use or second-life applications. Ask about material composition, quantity, condition and the appropriate handling and transfer arrangements.
